Subsequently, psychosocial care found its legitimacy. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span> <\/span>In <strong>1998<\/strong>, the center received its accreditation as a type B reproductive medicine center, becoming part of the law as a center of the Brussels public network and thus the reference center for the IRIS network.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul><\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span> <\/span>The beginning of the <strong>2000s<\/strong> was marked by the opening of our center to patients with infectious diseases. This was a pioneering activity in Belgium, and the center remains a reference in this regard. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span> <\/span>In <strong>2008<\/strong>, the CHU Saint-Pierre fertility center became the first French-speaking center to obtain the ISO9001 quality label. This certificate symbolizes the motivation and genuine commitment to improving the care of our patients. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li> <span>Since <strong>2010<\/strong>, our center<\/span> has been legally registered as a bank for human bodily material <span>with the FAMHP (Federal Agency for Medicines and Health Products).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span> In <strong>2012<\/strong>, we created the first true website on reproductive medicine in French-speaking Belgium through a grant. Two years later, a forum was added for our patients.  <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span> <\/span>In July <strong>2015<\/strong>, a new &#8220;Clean Room&#8221; laboratory was put into operation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span> <\/span>In <strong>2017<\/strong>, our new fertility clinic was inaugurated, fully designed to centralize &#8220;around&#8221; the patient and well-being at work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>In <strong>2018<\/strong>, in collaboration and under the impetus of the quality management of the CHU Saint-Pierre, we launched the first large multi-center satisfaction survey in reproductive medicine. From this survey, we emerged with exceptional overall results: \n<ul>\n<li>95% of our patients were satisfied to very satisfied with their treatment.<\/li>\n<li>97% of our patients would recommend our fertility center to a family member or friend in case of need.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>We have the 2 legal accreditations necessary for the proper implementation of our activities, and we still hold our ISO9001:2015 certificate to this day. In addition, we are enthusiastically involved in the accreditation process of the hospital according to Accreditation Canada standards. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Throughout its history, the fertility center at CHU Saint-Pierre has been a pioneer in many areas and on numerous occasions. The various leaders who have succeeded one another have also managed to give it a distinct identity among others.
