Embryokweek<\/h1>\n

Na de eicelpunctie worden de eicellen bevrucht met zaadcellen, hetzij door conventionele in vitro fertilisatie (IVF), hetzij door intracytoplasmatische sperma-injectie (ICSI), afhankelijk van uw medische dossier en de kwaliteit van het sperma.<\/p>\n

De volgende dag analyseren we de resultaten van de bevruchting en houden we u op de hoogte van de voortgang van het proces.<\/p>\n

Het team van biologen zal gedurende enkele dagen de ontwikkeling van de embryo’s nauwlettend volgen, waarbij de morfologische kwaliteit en voortgang worden beoordeeld. Indien nodig kan de embryokweek worden verlengd tot de zesde dag om een nog nauwkeuriger selectie te maken van de meest levensvatbare embryo’s, die dan worden overgebracht of ingevroren voor een latere cyclus.<\/p>\n

Embryo’s die niet worden overgebracht, kunnen inderdaad worden gecryopreserveerd als hun kwaliteit dit toelaat, waardoor de kans op succes bij een later behandelingsproces wordt vergroot.
